Project Description

Jacaranda completed major joinery elements for the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. The Ian Potter Southbank Centre is the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music brand new educational facility, located at the heart of Melbourne Arts Precinct.

Works consisted of timber veneered perforated panelling, solid timber batten wall panelling, custom hardwood solid batten screens, vertically textured acoustic wall panelling, void surround joinery, feature custom cladding and multiple ceilings, walls and doors throughout. Jacaranda also contributed to the large 6-metre-diameter oculus window which looks into the ground floor orchestral rehearsal space.
